Great little pub with an excellent choice of ever changing real ales. Friendly and beer enthusiastic staff make this a brilliant place to enjoy a few beers. Within walking distance of the train station.

A fantastic little place nestled away in Christchurch. The selection here is fantastic and the owner clearly knows his beers/ciders/rum and gin. Very welcoming and definitely shaping up to be a regular go to.

Great choice of beers and cider. Not many places have such good choice of ciders these days. Dog friendly and staff are great. 10/10

I frequent the Saxon Bar quite regularly on a weekend but just lately I've felt like my business isn't valued ,as the owner can often be very abrupt bordering on unfriendly .I have wondered if maybe the hospitality business isn't really for him !

What a fantastic find! If you love your real ale, like to sample a range of well looked after, specialist beers, you need to visit this small and friendly bar in Christchurch. If you’re a bit nervous of the real ale scene, speak to Lee who will recommend something suitable based on your taste. Amazing range of ciders and bottled brews too. A beer winner!

The most amazing, friendly bar In town. 5 stars just don't seem to be enough when awarded to the Saxon bar. A place to relax, make friends and to drink the best of beers to be found anywhere. Can't wait for my next visit. Cheers 🍻🍻
