The building itself is really cool and spacious, the opportunities are endless really. On top of that, the place is well designed and nicely decorated, it just has this super cool creative vibe to it, there is also a nice spacious café area with delicious goodies. I displayed some artwork in the gallery space and it was an incredible night, there were lots of people there, and there was a friendly and respectful vibe all around, and many conversations to be had.
Charlotte in particular was amazing, lovely, very friendly and chatty, answered all our questions and more, she was at hand to help at all times whether physically present or not, we could just send her a message. So don't let the bad reviews change your mind on working with the Silver Building as they are absolute nonsense, I had completely the opposite experience, and I would love to work with them again.
The Silver Building is a beautiful brutalist concrete building in West Silvertown that is a creative hub for a number of artists.
With regular events, exhibitions and cocktails nights it really is worth checking out.
There is an interesting looking art exhibition coming up called "You Are Joking" by artists Floating Concrete which looks like it could be worth a visit. Opening night 25.07.19
professional and well organised, Adam, Livia, Matthew the venue team where on hand and responded quickly to our questions. They made our film shoot an absolute pleasure, so helpful and supportive! Can’t wait to come back for our next project.
Members of staff so friendly making probably the best baileys coffee in East London.
I highly recommend this place.
Regards
I cannot rate it higher than 3 stars as the toilets were a mess. Blocked toilets and the doors couldn't shut properly. The locks needed fixing too. Facilities like these are very important especially when there's a crowd or large gathering.
