If you are looking for a wedding venue in central Taunton then this is the perfect place. From our first conversation to our actual wedding day, The Pitcher & Piano have been fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble, there is a relaxed atmosphere between staff & how they work throughout their shift. The setting is perfect for weddings, or any function. The new decor is fresh, smart and inviting. I cannot fault anything from start to finish, we had the best day. Chelsea and James oversaw emails and most questions, just a fab team that work there, cannot recommend the venue enough.

Visited last week, had some fantastic cocktails made by Tristan, best espresso martini I’ve ever had. Food was fantastic, service was quick and left smiling :) will definitely return next time I visit Taunton ❤️

What a surprise, I’ve never been here before and total enjoyed the experience. We were great by a lovely lady who showed us to our table. Then shortly a nice young man came and took our drinks order . Delicious cocktails. We then placed our food order . Lots to choose from and all came out beautiful presented and tasted as good as it looked. I will definitely visit a Pitcher and Piano again.

Been here twice this week. Lovely professional staff. Very attentive I asked for hot water for my baby's bottle. They assisted me on both occasions. Very friendly vibe. Food was delicious 😋 found my new hangout once they finish refurbishment. Spacious too with covid guidelines. Thank you all.

We went there for lunch yesterday. The interior design of the restaurant is great, and this is pretty much the only good thing i have about this place. They were missing many dishes from the menu, no flatbreads, no curry, we even couldn't order the chorizo mac&cheese. After this hassle over ordering, we had to wait another 50 mins for the food to come, no apologies were made when the waiter came to serve the food. In the salad we ordered, the only salad vegetables on the plate were avocado and plain lettuce topped with overcooked chicken and bacon. Just pathetic! The other two dishes we ordered included a house hurger and some chicken tenders. They were just ok. But definitely not worth the long wait and the money. Will not visit again.
