Easily my worst experience eating out since Covid.

I ordered on the app and ended up waiting over 20 mins for drinks, to the point I went and got my own drinks from the almost empty bar.

Then waited over an hour for food while people around me got their order first, even after they arrived after me.

When I questioned why, I was told they were busy but it definitely wasn’t from people in the bar.

They had a constant stream of delivery orders but if they cant cope with their guests at venue they should switch this off.

The food arrived and it was cold and incorrect.

Awful experience. Absolutely no positives on this visit.

Not a wide selection of proper beer...unless you're a lager drinker.
Food's OK but just normal pub grub.
Staff are nice & attentive.
Couple of big tellies to watch sport but unfortunately, they have a kids area so the little blighters are always running around, while the parents ignore them. 🙄
Overall a nice pub.

Stayed here for a night for a Wales football game. Absolutely lovely hotel rooms - lovely spacious room & bathroom. Great location for being just a little out of the city. It was so quiet and the bar is nice. Breakfast was served til 11.30 and checkout at 12 - perfect. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly. The lady explained everything and was really friendly. We stayed over night and the room was immaculate. We had dinner which was delicious.

Absolutely great service throughout and really made our stay special. We will certainly go back

I am sorry but I cannot say The Beverley is a hotel, it is HOME in Cardiff. The staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean. The food at the bar/restaurant is very delicious. I look forward to be back here.

Room: great. Spacious, homely, very comfortable and very clean. A great wee bathroom with a power shower and daily cleaning. 10/10 for what you pay for

Food and drinks: Higher quality than expected! Reasonable pricing and great locally sourced meats. Something to fit all, adults and children alike. Drinks are fine.

Service : absolutely brilliant. Very friendly, very helpful and patient. Top drawer

We reserved tables. We arrived to be told the table numbers and pointed in a direction. There were people sat at the tables so we went back to the bar and explained. It became quite awkward when the people sat there were vocal about being asked to move by staff.. We felt extremely uncomfortable and this was not a good start to our Birthday celebration. The reserve sign had folded over in the menu holder, I would not have known it was reserved either as a guest. I would advise a little sellotape and clearly attach it visibly on the table. The name is on it anyway so the paper cannot be reused. Clearly mark reserved tables.

The meal was lovely and well worth the price but the start to our evening spoilt our visit a little.

We eat here quite regularly and have yet to have a bad experience. Food is always hot and fresh, never had a long wait and if there is a wait have always been informed prior to ordering. Staff are always efficient, friendly and helpful. Facilities are always clean
