Thank you to the team for fitting us in for Sunday Lunch, really enjoyed our roast dinner!

Food was good, we had the pork & a veggie roast. Great stuffing, good Yorkshire, excellent mash. Price was what I’d expect to pay for a roast.

The staff member was very friendly, welcoming & helpful.

Overall we had a great time.

The pub is cosy & the dining area was homely, very much like you’re sat in someone’s living room, could do with a little touch up, but ultimately didn’t detract from the experience.

The staff were polite but the food was average, the cleanliness was below average and the decoration was lacking somewhat. Disappointed as we had seen possative reviews since the refurbishment.

Nice pub with great food - portions are huge though! I shouldn't have had a starter! Lovely friendly staff and relaxed comfortable atmosphere

Lovely local friendly place. The bar Manager( he's great) and barstaff are very welcoming. Foods awalys good here. The view in garden is one of the best in Bangor for a alfresco lunch or after a walk a long the pier.

I hate having to write these reviews about venues such as the Boatyard, but unfortunately, these sorts of venues don’t help themselves. This pub was once owned by one of the local gangsters of Bangor, but their grubby paw prints are all over this place still. The girl who is running this place with her partner is well out of her depth and it clearly shows. They are covered head to toe in tattoos, swear all the time in and around guests and I could of swore I saw a joint next to her packet of cigarettes. Her partner is quite an aggressive guy and can’t handle criticism well, so don’t even try. I think to be honest, it’s probably best to avoid this place, I predict it will be closed within 12 months, with yet again new owners, as the present one doesn’t even look like she could run a bath, let alone a place that sells food!

Horrible. Went on Tuesday night for something to eat. There was nobody at the bar we waited 15 minutes, then a further 10 whilst the girl went to find the other staff member. Told the menu was off they were only serving dirty burgers. We opted just to have a drink. I asked for half a corona and told it was off, so went for magners - also off. I plumped for half a carling. Paid with a note and they had no change so had to wait a further 5 minutes whilst someone went off to get change.
My partner had a pint and noticed a dead bug on the outside bottom of his glass. Looked like a dead maggot. Half way down his pint the inside of his glass was absolutely filthy. Didn't finish our drinks, just left

Really nice pub, food and drink was amazing. They even went above and beyond to cater for my fussy girlfriend! Staff were very friendly and genuine; the manager Paul made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend this place

Lovely refurbished Boatyard Inn, visited in the evening. Great choice of drinks, nice Pint of Larger to Beefeater Gin + more. Stunning views of Bangor and Straits. Very polite and courteous staff. Professional public house.
