We keep coming back! Camping 🏕 around the corner.

Nice list of pub food with changing specials to keep it interesting. Especially the home smoked salmon was excellent! Good portions, decent food, good price.

Love 😍 the beer garden next to the canal and river.

Staff is friendly and professional.

Excellent (real) ale and wine selection.

Stayed at the nearby campsite.
Food was excellent and the girl behind the bar was very accommodating. (I think her name was Ella or Ellie?) Nothing was too much trouble for her.
My only issue was the woman in the kitchen telling staff off in front of customers.
Not a good look in my eyes.
That said, I will return.

Awesome properly dog-friendly pub with the nicest staff, friendliest landlady, spectacular beer, wonderful food, and scampi fries! What more could you want? We'll be back for sure.

Rude and racists. I ordered a drink on this pub and as it says they only could serve food to those who booked it, I was eating my sandwiches as many other people, but this lady came directly to me to tell me that that wasn't a picnic area to eat my own food in a very rude tone. I was going to have a coffee after, but instead I finished my drink quicky and went to the White Hart to have it.

Stopped here for an evening meal while on holiday. Nice pub, staff were friendly. Me and the Mrs had the cod and chips. Not sure what the chef done to the batter, but it was absolutely outstanding. We both agreed it was the best tasting fish and chips we have ever had, and we live in the south west, fish and chip capital of the world. Definitely worth a visit without a doubt.

This is our 3rd or 4th visit. We walk Brecon to Llangynidr & this is our favourite place to stop for a drink. The food smells amazing. Staff are friendly and the best part for me is dogs are welcome too.

We visited again yesterday for a quick drink, the food smelt amazing, so we also had some chips. Massive portion and really tasty.

Stopped there while I was on a bike ride which was easy as there was A path straight from the canal. The menu was not extravagant but the food was very nice and good portions. The staff were very friendly and good quick service. Beer garden was nice to with the sound of the river.
