14/8/19: Happy hop.
13/6/19: Amber archer.
29/5/19 Summer Blonde. 11/6/18 Mosaic.
16/4/18 Dragons fire & Pepper corn stout.
2/11/17: Rye & Dry.
24/4/17: Show me the honey. 14/4/17: Gravel rash.
27/3/17: Treacle Toes.
This is in this day & age an unusual pub - no meals other than toasties, now added baguettes (August 2022), crisps, nuts & chocolates. Good welcome, excellent ales. New brews on a regular basis (from the on site micro brewery), definitely a must visit for ale enthusiasts - many deserved Camra awards.

The most important thing to know about the Cross is that it has it's own micro brewery. The second is that the beer brewed here under the Cerddin brand is in my opinion amongst the best brewed in Britain. Enough said really. Although I could add that there is also a wide range of ciders on. The beer is a very good price and there is always a welcome.
If you want a food menu, well they can always make you a fresh toastie to soak up the ale. Oh and there is a bus stop outside so no need to drive and restrict your ale tasting.

Fantastic little pub with a great beer garden and nice atmosphere.
Plenty of choice of ales and ciders, the Rhubarb cider they make themselves is one of my favourites.
Staff were really friendly and I could have happily stayed there all day.
Only a 5 minute walk from Garth train station or 3 1/2 hours from Bridgend if you fancy working up a thirst before hand.
Only food being served when I went were toasties and nuts/crisps which did the job.
Will definitely be returning
