The Beer Lab

The Wirral's 3rd micropub has popped up in Heswall. A great little place, with 4 real aleas and 6 craft ales. The landlord / owner is a nice, pleasant and chatty person.

There are several tables inside.

Will definitely be back.

Needed a lockdown beer but fancied something special.

Great section of beers. Bar Staff are really helpful and very friendly. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. It can get busy during obvious peak teams. It's in the heart of Heswall so easy to get to and from. If you like your beer you'll enjoy this establishment.

A perfect little bar; no unnecessary extras or gimics; it is, as the man says, all about the beer. I'd go more often if I could; I wish it opened a bit earlier (I work nights and tend to be a daytime drinker).

Great micro pub. Good selection of beers all very well kept. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. An excellent addition to The Wirral beer scene.

Love this place. Is a proper home of a wide range of really great beers, from quality pils through session ales, IPAs, golden , porters, sours, and some weird and wonderful stuff - so whatever you're in the mood for it'll be there. Ryan is an engaging and knowledgeable host, no drink snobbery here, its all about giving people options to discover what they like.
