Had a lovely Sunday roast last week. First time going, great service. Reasonably priced. Food was good, I would personally prefer a little more variety of vegetables. However doesn't take away the fact the food was delicious. Will definitely go back and recommend. 😊.

I'm a difficult customer due to food allergies and my preferences. We all had an excellent experience at the Grayling, the whole team were excellent and we have booked again for Sunday carvery. The food and the welcome was brilliant and I can't fault it, they really took time to get to know their customer base. Cheers for a great experience and a special shout to Will and Chris for sorting us out 👍👍

Nice restaurant. Sticky tables due to the deterioration of the varnish. Similar prices and food selection to a wetherspoons. Nice cakes available for dessert. This has a lovely nature area next to it too.

The staff were all exceptionally friendly. I unfortunately didn't get the name of the gentleman who served us. But after I misheard what was being ordered he simply turned it into a joke. Our food was served quickly and the quality was perfect. The choice of drinks at the bar was different to all others therefore making for a better variety.

Not impressed at all tonight. £8.20 for a glass of wine! Great Yarmouth has the second poorest borough in England. How they expect people to be able to afford that amount for wine I don't know. I ordered the sirloin steak. It was meant to come with onion rings, mushrooms, etc. No mushrooms on my plate or on the table next to me. No explanation or apology offered. I told the blue haired duty manager who pretended that we had been given bigger portions of chips/peas etc. I told him that I had received at best a tablespoon of peas and less chips than the man at the next table with an identical meal. Very poor. Cold onion rings. We ordered dessert and asked for hot custard with the sticky toffee pudding but the custard was cold. I've left good reviews before for here but you'd struggle to get me to turn up again, especially after the attitude of the "duty manager".

Carvery was lovely, server could have been a bit more friendly. Rest of staff lovely.
Table sticky due to reaction with cleaning products, obviously out of bar staff's control but needs addressing

Lovely place! Fantastic food, great prices and really warm and friendly staff.

We enjoyed The Grayling so much that we went two days in a row.

Couldn't ask for a better restaurant!

Burger was overcooked and very dry. Onion rings were mushy, definitely not fresh and really overpriced. The wait times are pretty awful too.

The good news is that the place is clean, staff are nice and that is about it.
