Liked: This is an absolute fantastic site. We went with our 5 year old and he did not want to leave! The pool and park was perfect and kept him entertained for full day and the next morning. The pub is great and was fully stocked including ice creams/sweets and children's drinks we found it very reasonably priced. We planned to eat in our motorhome but after seeing other peoples foods coming out decided to eat at the pub in the outside area, this was so easy to book online via a QR code to the website brought out to our table. The food was gorgeous and fresh and again very very reasonably priced.
There was zero complaints about this site. The site was kept clean and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Toilets clean and well maintained.
Very dog friendly site.
We will be back for sure. All 3 of us loved it :-)

Liked: The pool was a great way to keep the children entertained. Dog friendly, and plenty of space. Having access to the pub, for food and drink was great. We highly recommend the pizza's! and the value is excellent. The pool and play area are well maintained and used.

All required facilities were available

Disliked: Some of the facilities, could use a little TLC

Liked: Everything facilities were amazing and clean shower block and toilets. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Pun on site is lovely with friendly staff and good food. Park on site for children plenty of space around your own pitch so don't feel close to neighbours. Washing facilities available and bingo in pub overall fab holiday def be back x

Liked: The fact it had a park, pool facilities not that I could encourage my son to either due to over crowding (he's non verbal ASD with sensory issues) but he thoroughly enjoyed his stay regardless as did my self husband and our two friends who had a pitch along side us. Also liked the fact that it had well facilitated cleaning/toilet facilities that were cleaned regularly.

Disliked: The fact that some campers didn't adhere to the rules of loud music after a certain time or burning of wood in the fire pit style barbecues of an evening me and my son are both asthmatic. Didn't so much enjoy balls games outside and around our tent either when there was grass space for them to play else where

Liked: Pool area was always clean and tidy, showers and toilets kept clean and tidy. Pitches well maintained and maintenance man lives on site so any issue sorted straight away. Pitches have plenty of room, and reliable electric supply unlike some other smaller sites. Staff were friendly and helpful day and night. We arrived late due to a delay on motorway from a accident, but they still provided us with a hot meal even though kitchen had closed. You can tell it’s work in progress as there is improvements going on during day. The children's play area is maintained and safe even if a little quirky a upside down play house which kids loved.

Disliked: The outdoor patio area needs a bit of work on the floor as uneven and bit dated but is functional. Lack of onsite shop for basics was let down as no shops in walking distance. The dumper truck driving round spewing black smoke could of been avoided. But all minor issues and didn’t ruin our stay.

Kids loved it! The pool is great and the kids played on the park for hours. I'm only giving 4 stars because we really enjoyed our week here but don't expect anything fancy you get what you pay! It's a well worn place Caravans aren't the best and could do with a good deep clean, staff aren't the friendliest but I wouldn't be friendly after dealing with feral kids all summer! Food is nice & pricing not too bad! Pool table for older kids and washing facilities and showers for campers.

Liked: We were concerned about some reviews but found staff lovely, very friendly and helpful, facilities were cleaned daily and extra when notified of problems (caused mainly by adults not supervising young children who made a mess) staff did their best to keep the large site tidy but any mess was down to visitors being disrespectful. Play ground was great the kids loved it especially the upside down house, the indoor/outdoor pool was a great hit for whole family! Pool was chlorinated, toped up and tidy every evening when it closed. No complaints about the food it was your typical pub food. Dougie, the owner I think, never stopped from morning till night! Had a friendly relaxed atmosphere. We have a big tent and there was plenty of pitch space without feeling you were on top of each other, and room for the car too. All breeds of dogs were on there. Would book again.

Disliked: Only thing that could have improved the stay in my opinion is being able to buy provisions on site such as milk and eggs etc and pool toys would have gone down well. Could do with information leaflets for days out and nearby places to visit.

Liked: Great for young children, my 2 five year old granddaughters loved the pool and the park.
Toilets and showers were basic but clean.

Disliked: The pool and outside seating just needed a good clean.
I’m gluten free but the bar didn’t stock any gluten free beers/lagers but the staff still tried to get me to have a normal beer assuring me that it was gluten free! My party drank plenty of their beers and I just took my own beer in, which they didn’t endorse but equally didn’t stop me.
