Took my son here for his first 'official' beer on his 18th. Nice pub and it was very clean. Staff and patrons pleasant. 5 stars would be possible if they got some decent malt whisky in. Sorry, I'm a Scotsman.

If I'm honest at the time my wife and I visited it lacked atmosphere. Felt that you would really need to be a regular here. It looks like they are trying to cover ALL bases to. Setup for a disco type environment. Pub games, two TV's one on sport the other showing the Jubilee at the same time within striking distance of each other. The drinks were fine and its clean, tidy and spacious. I don't think there was any food on offer? The outside for me did not match my expectations of the inside. Unfortunately these times a lot of pubs seem to lack an individual identity to pull in punters. They have become so diverse and still are failing unless part of the major players in the industry. Also they struggle to compete on pricing because of same.

Very good prices indeed, for what you pay a lot more for at other nearby pubs. And the redecoration has freshener it up no end. Has gone from old mans pub, to a proper nice local.

Called in for a quick drink as my husband has been wanting to see what it is like, it was ok, pool table, dart board, couple of tv, one was sport, one news, not on loud, all clean & tidy.

The atmosphere is pretty chilled
Staff members are friendly
Quite a nice, quaint pub

Great pub, fun entertainment free pool table Wednesday nights.Karaoke nights too

It's quite expensive for where it is but not a bad pub
