Good local pub with a good size area inside. Nice for small functions such as weddings, funeral wakes and birthdays. Staff are really nice and friendly. The only downside is the smokers outside the main door as you go in, you can cut the smoke with a knife

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. The cold buffet we had arranged was very good, with plenty of choice. The place is very well laid out and has a large bar, and everything looked clean.
The only concern we had, was that the room was cold.

Visited for the first time for a function. A really large pub well split up to suit all. Nice bar games area and enough TV's for everyone to enjoy. The function space was well thought out with a stage, space to dance and some seating. Excellent range of drinks but I thought the prices were slightly higher than I would expect having drunk in Ilkeston regularly.

Nice place to hire a room for a celebration party.

Soz but I need 2 delete the 1st msge.. Rite December '22, wot a difference the new tenants av made. We now feel happy 2go in the pub. Let's hope the new couple who av cleand up the pub make a go ov it.

Lovely landlady not bad selection of alcohol but it dose not sell food but it has bar snacks.
