Great service and fab food . Had just picked my daughter up from the airport and needed a good feast for 3 of us

First time at Duckworth Arms.
Because we do not have a car it meant a TWO bus journey from Great Harwood. It was worth the effort 👌.
The two course meal was worth every penny.
The staff were welcoming courteous and efficient.
The gents toilets were SPOTLESS.
I highly recommend.

We’ve just had a brilliant family meal here. We used to go to the Duckworth Arms quite frequently but we haven’t been for a few years and we were really impressed with the food and service. This is a cut above the standard of food they used to serve when it was a Brewers Fayre. Some interesting things on the menu (mussels with lardons), the food was piping hot and fresh and the portions generous. The lamb shank fell off the bone and steak & ale pie was one of the best I’ve ever had. The service was very attentive and the staff all very friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday roast!
I'm very hard to please with roast dinners but I can say hand on heart this is one of if not the best roast dinner I've had.
The gravy was thick snd flavoursome, the turkey was cooked to perfection, the roast potatoes were fluffy and crisp.
The mashed potato was as smooth as silk and the vegetables were perfect as well.
I could honestly not find fault with any aspect of the dish.

Food was delicious, as always. However even after ordering our meals a week earlier, we still had to wait at least ten minutes for one of the starters and main courses to arrive. On the run up to Christmas, this really does need to be addressed

The best Sunday lunch ever!!!!! The sharing platter could feed a whole family including the dog! Worth every penny, cooked to perfection! Always service with a smile!

Lovely warm food after a long walk, staff really friendly, hard working and organised, will go back soon.

We visited the Duckworth arms on Wednesday night as a party of six. The service and food was excellent. Four of our party had the Wexford chicken which they said was delicious. My partner had medium rare steak which was cooked to perfection. I had the cheese and onion pie which was the best I've ever tasted. We will definitely be returning.
