The Wheatsheaf Inn

Six of us had a meal here this evening as a treat for my mum . Her partner is housebound and they very kindly plated a dinner up for him for us to take across the road in the retirement bungalows. Dinner was lovely and hot and was so good of them to do this . All our meals were good and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Just left this beautiful pub and I honestly cannot recommend it enough. The food is beautiful. We had fish and it was so delcious. The staff are lovely and friendly. I have not had service as I received here for years. Absolutely incredible. Would give more stars but 5 is the maximum I can give. This is a truly beautiful English pub. Exceeds expetations.

A warm welcome to strangers, very nice. Nice inside, food well cooked and fair price, certainly worth a visit.

Pleasant country pub friendly staff.Traditional dark wood interior with nooks and crannies and log fire on cold days.Offers good food and wide selection of ales and wines.Very nice fish and chips on Friday special.
