Nice little gem of a pub with a hidden secret outside - massive beer garden
Nice food menu and reasonable priced on drinks

Went here for a family reunion, the pub was great something for everyone, play area with bouncy castle for young ones, pool table for teenagers. Great outside seating really deceiving from the front. Would definitely go again, maybe in a smaller group lol. We ate in stages which wasn't great but rhere were 18 of us so understand. Parking is along rhe Road or just opposite.

We have been wanting to trial thispub for a while in search for a new regular. Sadly this certainly won't be it.
The good: the kids can run freely and it's relatively safe. There are some old pieces of tools, equipment and broken wood lying around though. We arrived at 5pm ordered at 5:20 ish and at 6:30 the kids were starving and ready to leave and eat at home. After asking for our meals we got the update that ours is next and just a few minutes away. Another 20 minutes later still nothing. We couldn't understand why starters would take that long. We chose loaded fries and prawns so simple deep fried stuff. At the end everything came at once and was just luke warm. Didn't help that we had to wait further to even receive cutlery.. The loaded fries literally was a bowl with some chips in and cut up chicken goujons with some grated, cold cheese thrown on top? The whole thing was an inedible mess we paid 6 quid for. There were not many tables occupied so not sure why or what caused this.
We hadn't been so frustrated in a long time. The reaction of staff was strange too. Yes, if your guests order starters from the starters section of the menu and then order also 1 main dish for everyone in the party you can assume that starters are starters and served first. If in doubt :ask.
Expensive for quality and service. Sorry we won't be back.

Went there with my partner and another couple for a meal about 7.30, had too look around for available seats as it was a Saturday night. We ordered fish and chips and bacon cheese burger meal. Meals were nice and service was good. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Drink and food prices was fair and a nice large beer garden. We were the only ones eating and there was a Halloween themed night with a singer, quite a few kids running about, but everyone looked like they were having a great night, no idiots or drunks. Pleasantly surprised. I would go again for a meal or for a few drinks on a pub crawl.

Good beer at reasonable prices. Didn't eat here on this visit, but will definitely in the future. Lots of people eating today which is always a good sign. Nice friendly, helpful staff

Was able to order through the app without issue. Spacious outdoor garden. They took my contact details at the door and was told to choose a seat. This was around Tuesday, 3pm. Was served promptly. Toilets were in good condition.
