We called into the jolly sailor yesterday evening and decided to stop and eat, we definitely wasn't disappointed. The black pudding scotch egg was perfect as a starter and then we went on to have the burger and bubble and squeak with smoked haddock and dippy poached egg, WOW it was all amazing, if your out and about and want to eat great food in a friendly atmosphere you won't go far wrong with the jolly sailor.😊

Just moved in across the road and went with friends last night 13th Jan 2023. Lovely atmosphere and great bar staff, was pleasantly surprised, will be making it my local. Only thing was they didn't have any Scottish blended whiskey like Famous grouse or bells, only Jamisons or Malts. Come on jolly make me happy get some in. Polly.

Excellent food, great, well kept, variety of cask beers, very attentive and welcoming staff. Quiz night too, very enjoyable and good value for money.

In my opinion, this back catalogue of music was poorly produced, however it delivered some very competent melodies. The tune "Space Jam" was dull at first, but the middle bit brought an overwhelmingly energetic vibe to the whole album. "Uber Alice" was another highlight; it very nearly brought a tear to my eye. The dreary instrumentals paired with the eerie title reminded me of a little girl being bit by a car. Very sad! Overall, I liked the album, I'm giving it a 9/10
