New owners, new menu, absolutely fantastic! The new owners are a lovely, friendly, welcoming couple and the food was delicious. Home made, freshly cooked and reasonably priced, I would recommend The Park to anyone.

When we arrived it was cold inside, the food we ordered fish and chip and smothered chicken, the potions were huge, very delighted, but sadly the taste was not great and very greasy/oily, it was a real shame because it looked good.
Overall cold inside.
Too greasy.Not that tasty.
But the potions were good
The place itself does need some TLC.

We booked a table for the Christmas menu at the park for our works do, the food was excellent, huge portions & well worth the price! The staff were extremely welcoming, the service was great & overall couldn’t have asked for a better night - thank you again!

Unbelievable value. We had 2 rump steaks with a bottle of decent quality Australian Chardonnay for £20. The wine alone would cost that in many places. The presentation was excellent: the steak came with chips, peas, salad, onion rings, mushrooms, tomatoes and a portion of creamy peppercorn sauce. The steaks were cooked just as we asked for. The service from Paul was friendly and helpful. The surroundings are homely. Honestly, this is very good pub food.
