Warm welcome from New landlords Steve & Amy, good to see old staff (Ang) still here and smiling, as well as new staff Katie and Daisy. All friendly, were attentive without being intrusive. Food was well presented and fresh. *hint* spread the chilli butter over all the chicken snizchel as soon as it arrives so you enjoy it over all of it. 😉

Visited today at around 11.30, first time since the referbishment. Had the Full English breakfast which was delicious, plentiful and for only £6.99 a bargain. Staff were amazing, friendly and attentive.
Garden is fantastic, so peaceful at quieter times, lovely to sit in and have birdsong in the background.
Will definitely become our pub of choice from now on. Thank you.

What a wonderful evening, we haven't been in since before the pandemic when the kitchen was Thai ( that was disappointing).
Staff were lovely, the food was hot and well presented. We ordered the prawn and calamari duo and the southern fried chicken goujons to start, followed by monterey jack & honey glazed bacon burgers and we shared Eton mess for dessert. Will definitely be back and if I could give an extra star it would be thay they welcome dogs. Only remembered to take one picture 😊 sorry.

Great place to eat if you're near Letchworth. Three wow courses for £14.99. Good size portions and well cooked. I had the Pea and Mint Tortellini, give it a try it was wonderful. Great outdoor space as well but it had just rained so we sat in doors, very comfortable.

Called in for lunch, spacious well kept establishment.
Had the chicken, bacon & avocado sandwich with fries or chips, there was so much filling it was a meal rather than a snack and was delicious and excellent value, OH had the steak sandwich which was just as filled. Staff were friendly and efficient and what's more it's dog friendly too!!! Large outdoor seating area for the warmer days. Will be going back as often as I can!! Can highly recommend.

This is a great pub with a lovely outdoor seating area. The food is very good, I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was fantastic and my wife had the turkey roast dinner which she enjoyed. They have a nice selection of alcohol. There is plenty of parking too. The only issue was that it was far too hot in there which made most of us feel uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was excellent and I highly recommend it.

A very large, traditional pub, not to be confused with its smaller neighbour with the same name in Willian. Really nicely appointed in dark wood, with log fires and lots of different seating areas. The restrooms were spotlessly clean too, which is sadly a rarity these days.

Would have preferred more choices of real ales (only Doombar and Harvey’s were on offer on a Sunday lunchtime). Staff were really friendly and so was the pub cat, Reggie! Didn’t try the food as we’d had a big breakfast elsewhere, but would definitely have lunch next time.

Highly recommended. Lovely environment, excellent staff and service and food hot, well presented and extremely good value for money. The only negative and it’s a big negative, I wanted to leave a tip and the system didn’t allow that to happen. Owners please take note as I was unable to thank the staff in the time honoured fashion because I like an increasing percentage of the population don’t carry cash.
This place is well worth a visit and the manager is to be congratulated in this regard
