This is a rare thing now, a propper unspoilt normal 'non gastro' pub, big quiet beer garden and fantastic traditional food at normal prices. £7 for a great burger and a ton of chips.

I can across the Apple Tree by accident on my way to a medical appointment at the nearby hospital. Walked in in the afternoon to a spacious welcoming pub well appointed with good quality facilities including lovely gardens which are child friendly. A great choice of drinks available and an extensive diverse menu at most times of the day every day. Worth a visit. And, Sally looked after us well. Do drop in.

A lovely place, great buffets music, armchairs and time spent with friends.

David Smith, Gemma Turner and Simon Ward. Was here today. The food was brilliant so were the drinks, Simon introduced us to you also recommended to his regular (the apple tree pub) so we all came from Kent to try the food and drinks out, we wasn’t disappointed and he weren’t wrong! I’d go again without a doubt, the staff (Nicki) she is a brilliant worker bar lady and chef! Roll on Sunday roast can’t wait to try!

Went there for a birthday party. The staff were really smily and friendly. The buffet was good. Plenty for everyone.

Cold 22nd November evening. Warm welcome with open fire. Beef and lamb, mash peas and wonderful gravy plus a fresh pint for less than 12 quid. Much nicer than town, warmer, less noisy, exceptional clean with no sticky tables. No loud music at 5.30. Ideal homeward bound treat. Totally stuffed. Huge thank. Will be back.

Tonight 20th December, another cold evening, but The Apple Tree soon sorted that out. Open crackling fire, and this time omelette chips and beans. Washed down with a mug of much needed tea, yes tea!! Huge value for money. Mega thanks.
