Thank you to the Spread Eagle for their rapid response yesterday evening in allowing us and a member of staff to use their fire extinguisher on the fire at Broadmeads car park. This allowed the fire in the undergrowth to be dampened down sufficiently so it did not spread and that the fire brigade could rapidly and efficiently put it out. Thanks

What a refreshing change, an unspoilt town centre pub, this small pub has one room, handpulled McMullen's mild, a few TVs and a juke box, the locals are very friendly the the overall atmosphere is one of people enjoying beer and each others company. Well worth a visit.

What a nice family run pub, always a laugh in there, food when you need it and all taps are cleaned regular and the beer always taste excellent, looks amazing in the summer as the landlady loves her flowers and they have won best display and pub awards very happy to spend time here

Very Friendly, and quiet pub,by the Station, visited yesterday, but a little unwell,my main motivation for the visit was the need to find a toilet.

I entered under the pretence,of the need to buy a drink,so had a pint of Fosters, but sat in a quiet area of the pub, also was hungry, but didn’t see any food available,a little while later, the Landlord came over to see if I was OK, I had a further pint of Fosters, but then needed to find out the time of the next train, back into London.

I tried to time it right,to leave with just a few minutes to spare-as it was a cold, dark miserable evening,so as to get my train back into London.

The pub has an open fire,a couple of fruit machines,a couple of TVs,a Digital Jukebox and Darts Area.

Landlord, very Customer oriented, and very Friendly,non-intimidating and mannered fellow customers.

Will visit again, the next time I’m in Ware !!

(And feeling better) !
