A warm welcome. Delicious food . We had the rump steak and chips. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. The chips, best I've had in a long time. A lovely village pub. If your passing through and fancy a drink or a bite to eat I would highly recommend it. Thank you.

A lovely village pub! Our group stopped for lunch and were all very happy with our meals. Beautifully battered haddock with tasty chips, delicious steak & ale pie, lovely lighter sandwich with skinny fries. The profiteroles were amazing! Great staff and service, friendly and attentive. Will definitely return soon!

Lovely pub, beautiful building, great selections of drinks. The food I sampled for a lunch was really good. A very welcoming place with some great locals and superb staff!

Had a fantastic lunch, here last Saturday afternoon.. They have a fabulous New Tapa's menu. Serving Chicken wings to for.. And don't miss the Special selection, found on the board next to the bar.. We shared the tasty crisp beef. Yum! Yum!. Will be back..

What a fabulous little find. It's so nice to walk into a pub an have a friendly greeting. Food was spot on. Perfect size portion. I wanted to eat everything in the menu lol. Lady that took our order was fabulous and funny. Will definitely be back.

We used to go here before but haven't been in since new people took over. We are so glad we visited. We had a lovely homemade steak & Ale pie for dinner with cheesey chips, steak & Ale pie with mash & peas & a burger & chips.
The burger & chips are good but the pie is a must try!!
Also next time we will hopefully have some space for desert as the brownie looked amazing... But we just couldn't fit it in.

Lovely Christmas dinner & the Christmas pudding cheesecake & ice cream (sorbet?) were surprisingly delicious!

Lovely pub with very attentive owners.
Had the veggie burger and it was absolutely amazing. One of the best I've ever had, you couldn't even tell it wasn't meat.
Would recommend anytime!
