Honestly, the meal was was poor. Come for a meal on a Sunday evening, the place is virtually empty. I had "the Sunday best", which came with a few things, including onion rings and burnt ends beef on the burger itself. The onion rings hadn't been cooked at all. Raw, limp and very light in colour. And apparently burnt end beef now classifies as a lump of fat. Extremely poor. Especially as there's only 4 or 5 families in the place. We never had a server come and ask how the food was. Can safely say I will be avoiding this one from now on.

Compared to when War Horse first opened, it is honestly awful now. Went for lunch today and ordered the macaroni cheese which was supposed to come with a "dressed garnish of salad" which was in fact a couple of shreds of browning lettuce with no dressing (see picture for this pathetic excuse for a salad) and the Mac and cheese itself was swimming in liquid from where the cheese had obviously been microwaved. My partner ordered the New Yorker chicken which was supposed to include 2 chicken breasts, not one (very dry) chicken breast cut in half and made to look like two, again obviously microwaved. And the passionfruit mocktail was just a mango and passionfruit J20 mixed with lemonade. I used to love this restaurant but have decided today I won't be returning again as the food quality has gone so far down the drain it's untrue.

Never had a bad meal, but, today the chef surpassed themselves, decided to try something different, had the breakfast, had to ask for a doggy bag! Absolutely amazing and staff are just fab 💖💖💖

Another disappointing meal, booked into watch the football and to have tea while the England game was on. Staff are nice and welcoming, beer is still reasonable price still and the food but don't expect anything decent. The food was warm but not what is described at all! Very bland but just edible enough to eat, worst looking burger I've seen. My partner had chicken strips which was 90% something and 10% chicken with salt and pepper chicken seasoning on the side, sure it was a mistake, damn sure it was suppose to be cooked with the strips but I'm no chef? Won't be eating here again, Ice cream was decent though

Visited for the 1st time as we had converted some of our Tesco vouchers. We enjoyed our meals. I had a large mixed grill and my wife had chicken kebabs. Its a large place and we visited at lunch time. Quite a few people there but, wasn't busy. Enjoyed our visit, would return.

Dirty fries with yogurt/mint dressing and herb garnish - £3.49.
Chicken wing basket - you could either mix n match or to quote from the menu 'spice up as you dare!' We dared the famous Texan One which consisted of fried chicken wings with two sachets of BBQ sauce.
