The Bell Standon

Never been before until a few weeks ago, walked in not knowing anyone and was greeted by lovely bar staff. Everyone cheery and nice and then met the landlord who was really nice also! Lovely range of whiskies, and brilliant outdoor space with a teepee festival vibe to it. Really nice food vans selling lovely seafood. Would highly recommend as a family pub and also for a few drinks as a group of adults. No bad vibes just good fun.

Landlord and lady are so welcoming and friendly. The bell tent is outstanding. You can tell a lot of time and love have been put into this place. Thanks Jim and Helen!

The Bell Standon were more than accomidating when we recently held a wake In honour of our late mother, staff were very friendly and had a good selection of drinks.Thank you.

Just called in to cool down with a cool pint from my walk really enjoyed friendly staff and customers

A nice pint of Gunness at a very reasonable price shame there was a dog barking all the time so went outside to drink my pint soon followed by the man with the dog it didn't bark as much outside but still continued so didn't stop for a 2nd. I had something off the seafood van very good indeed

Really friendly village pub. We popped in for a quick drink on way to Sign of the times festival, staff and customers all chatted to us and made us feel really welcome. Just what a pub should be like.

Brilliant pub, Jim & Helen are fantastic hosts. They always have a big warm welcome, they have set up a brilliant outdoor space with heaters for those chilli days/evenings and times we are not allowed to drink indoors due to Covid19.
Highly recommend this pub, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely traditional English pub, (yes, mind your head), local beer, and all the usual international stuff. Great covered outdoor space, all looked after by friendly landlord and staff. Recommended for a visit.
