The Combermere Arms

What a fantastic place to come eat, staff super friendly and helpful, food excellent, good portion size. For me couldn't fault it. Go try it out.

We had the Korean Fried Broccoli (my friend said it was delicious) and the Harrisa
Sweetcorn Ribs - totally disappointing and way to costly (£525 / $6.22) for 1/2 an ear of corn quartered. For the main meal we had the steak burger, braised shoulder of lamb, sticky lime and ginger chicken, and the steak, smoked bacon, and venison pie. They were all excellent! The service was very good and the women bar tending and/or the manager was extremely welcoming and a kind. The building itself is worth the visit.

Had a main of Lamb shoulder it is lovely, melt in the mouth, the best i have ever had. The veg and new potatoes and gravey was very fresh and tasty couldnt fault it 10 out of 10

Really nice restaurant, it looks very nice outside and inside 👍 the food looks amaizing as well. But in my opinion my meal had too lot salt in curry sauce and it tasted like tomato soup ☹️

We spent a few evenings while on holiday at this pub, friendly staff made use welcome, good beers and atmosphere. Had Sunday dinner there which was brilliant, service excellent and food of the highest quality. We will be back and would not hesitate to recommend this.

Lovely lunch in this busy and well decorated pub. Friendly and efficient service from knowledgeable staff, and the food was fab.

Our first visit this year for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed. Excellent food, generous portions, nice atmosphere, good service. Compares very favourably with other similarly prices establishments in this area. Always a pleasure to eat here.
