Lovely atmosphere and good beer. A really old fashioned back in the day pub. A delight to be there with a warm welcome and friendly people

We walk in from Grindley Brook along the towpath and this is our first port of call. Always a warm welcome and lovely pint of Strongbow. Great welcome from other patrons too.

Friendly and welcoming.

A cosy friendly place. Great staff forever collecting glasses and wiping tables. Excellent selection of drinks. Nearby public car parking and in an ideal town centre location. We really enjoyed our experience and recommend it.
