Outstanding Sunday roast in the most beautiful quaint pub! Can’t recommend it enough. Every bite on the plate was delicious and obviously made with love- from the gorgeous rare organic aged beef to the cauliflower cheese and all the trimmings it was delicious! The pub is in a pretty and peaceful village with a gorgeous beer garden to enjoy the sunshine. Tables are laid out with comfy cushions, and candle lit with a roaring open fire nearby. A must visit! oh and make sure you try the homemade scotch egg- to die for!!! Thank you to the staff and owners for such a warm welcome x

Family lunchtime meal. Had never visited before but most definitely will again.
The menu changes daily depending upon the local produce and is cooked to perfection. Chicken on the bone was succulent, fish juicy and tender. My son's hogget tasted delicious. Great starters and puds too. My ginger pudding was so flavoursome.
I shouldn't forget the beers and ciders, all from local brewers.
This is a great country pub restaurant, if you're in the area it really is worth a visit. We booked and although you could just turn up, booking is recommended, after all, you don't want to miss the delicious food.

A pub with proper character. Really friendly staff, locals and their dogs. We will be back to try the menu when they are doing food!

Excellent little pub, as you can see from the photo, lots of character - rare these days. Service was super, food was delicious & reasonably priced. I forget the dog's names, but will definitely be back to see them and sample some more of the menu. Worth a visit!
