Good grub, lovely country themed pub with great service and reasonablea prices. Oak beamed interior and a nice sunny extension to the rear.
Bar games on the other side with a great pool table and darts.
Really great way to s poo end as Sunday afternoon

Revisited, still good food with all the family fed and happy for 8 pounds each!

Nice beer and meal in an old village pub. Can highly recommend the steak & ale pie, especially with the optional stilton. Delicious! Only downside was we were a bit cold (it was -2°C outside though). Could have done with a few extra degrees to be comfortable.

Very friendly staff and the food portions are very generous indeed! Traditional hearty pub with a nice selection of beer.

Great food, friendly welcoming staff. Bring a coat though as it's always cold (can't imagine how expensive it must be to heat such an old building). Sunday dinners are delicious.

Just had lunch , chef’s specials from the chalk board beef pie meal & fish plater meal. Both where excellent good food at a very good price & hot , clean & tidy pub with friendly welcoming staff

Staff friendly, vegan choice of food good, local atmosphere. There also seemed to be lots going on through the week. A real community feel.
