Fun day here raising money for charity on a mini pub run the owners are so lovely.

Nice friendly and welcoming pub. I used to drink here over 20 years ago when I lived in the area and I dropped in for a pint or two before a match yesterday - it was great to be there again. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I'm looking forward to my next visit - hopefully not in 20 years time again 😊

Always a great pub to go before the football - friendly, OK for fans of both teams, well-kept beer, reasonably priced.

A real pub. Not a chain. Not a designer bar. But a proper british boozer as it should be. Good selection of draft beers most of which I had never heard of and variety is good. Also an open log burning fire which is so inviting. The toilets are immaculate and probably the best smelling in Aldershot.

Popped in for a quiet cider and the bar was almost empty. Nice pint of Thatchers orange cider.

Visited for a few pints before the Aldershot v Southend game. We were visiting away fans and found the atmosphere a little bit cliquey. Landlord seemed to be annoyed when I offered to pay for a round of drinks by card, even though it was above their minimum spend. We stood outside but their heaters weren't working so we came back inside as it was Baltic! Quick service and decent selection of beers on tap. Good choice for pre match beers a stone throw from stadium.
