I booked a table in advance & asked if I could park my motorhome in their car park overnight & they readily said yes & at no charge!
We received a very friendly welcome in this lovely dog friendly pub! 👍
The food was very tasty & excellent value for money! 👍😋
One slight criticism the table was quite sticky which I'm sure was down too too much spray cleaner!
Will definitely return when in the area!

My first visit for a long time, and it was very enjoyable. Good food and spot on service by lovely staff although very busy. Great garden and decor! 😆

First time visiting and very impressed. Staff were very friendly and very helpful, explained how dining worked, ordering at the bar...
Food selection was good, we stopped by for lunch, good size portions, well presented and cooked beautifully (fish pie).
Good selection of drinks and that nice touch of a chilled glass for cold lager.
Would recommend dropping in and giving it a try.

Good venue for a sunny afternoon, had fish and chips, and my friend had scampi and chips, both were so good, and everything was fresh. Definitely on my list of favourite pubs in the area. Nice outside area, only slight niggle for me was people smoking outside of the smoking area, but didn't bother me too much. Staff were friendly and helpful

As pub food goes you can't beat it. I had the fish and chips. Nice atmosphere. 4 real ales on tap. My children also liked it as their empty plates suggest.

What a gem of a find! We'd just finished Go Ape at Itchen Country Park and fortunately this came up on Maps as somewhere to eat. Such a beautiful place, lovely inside, excellent food and really friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

I have been to this venue 3 times and it never fails to impress. It has a great ambience and the food is good. You need to book if eating at this restaurant because it is very popular! Well done to management and staff for providing a lovely country spot to have a meal.

Very cozy place. People were nice. The pizza 🍕 we ordered wasn’t so bad. Toilets very clean and good parking available.
