Stopped here for a quick drink as we were a little early for our check in. Popped in again the following day on return from a day out. Had Sunday lunch before journey home. Suffice to say this lovely pub became our 'local' whilst in the area. Food was delicious, landlord and landlady were friendly and welcoming, drinks were cold. Thoroughly recommend.

I and my wife were in Gloucestershire for the weekend to recharge our batteries. We found this charming local pub and decided to grab a few drinks and a bite to eat. Wooooowwww! It was really good! We were a little bit circumspect initially whether to dine here or not, reading a lot of negative reviews about their food. But we were super happy with the food. My wife had their Soup of the Day and I had Steak & Ale pie. Both were amazing!

I went to meet a friend today. We had a meal. Meal were on the big side. It was hot and fresh. Staff were friendly. I will be going again. Thank u for a warm welcome x

An outstanding pub, one of the very best for beers and food. Excellent home cooked food with a superb choice on the menu. Could have stayed there all day, and it was so good we're going back tomorrow for lunch. The landlord and landlady were welcoming and attentive, and the decor is everything an English pub should be.

Absolutely beautiful place! Went today (sunday) had a pork roast and a chicken soup starter... well it blew my socks off! Food was amazing, so welcoming and friendly! Cant wait to revisit so worth the trip ❤ thanks again for everything!

Dog friendly, we booked a table for a Saturday night. Food was amazing and owners lovely. The pub had a really good atmosphere. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
