Excellent food, everything fresh and tasty, brilliant idea having it above a pub 👍 definitely return whenever we are in the area. Wouldn’t have known it was there without google. Pleasant owner and staff, very friendly locals with a good atmosphere upstairs and down, highly recommend 👍👍👍 all the best for the future, from the yam yams 😄😄

Just had my order delivered promptly to my house. I'd like to say that the food was great but I can't - it was amazing. Quite possibly the best Indian food I have ever had for sure. Thank you Railway Tandoori. Me and my wife and children really enjoyed our food. Please pass on my compliments to your chef.

My wife and I was celebrating our honeymoon. We visited the railway tandoori as a treat. We blown away with quality food and service. The food was absolutely first class. Anyone visiting the area must go and have dinner. We will be back. Trevor and Samantha thank you so much for such a wonderful evening. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

All the reviews relating to the Indian restaurant are nothing to do with this pub. The Railway Tandoori was a completely separate business which has relocated so this is false advertising

3.5 hours for a delivery is not acceptable in anyones books. Why take orders if you can’t fill them? Definitely won’t be ordering from here ever again.

Simply brilliant! Tucked away in a side street this old charming pub ( downstairs) With a stunning contemporary tandoori restaurant upstairs! Order food and eat in friendly atmosphere....order drink separately and pay at the bar or when drinks are brought to you. Five Big Stars.

Placed an order at 5:15, little treat for the kids and the in-laws next door. I was surprised to see both the delivery and collection time change from 60 minutes to 120 minutes, but I was prepared to wait as there are plenty of good reviews about the food. The expected delivery time came and went, couldn't get hold of the restaurant and the "live chat" is nothing but a bot that offers no help at all. At 8:05 the food finally arrives, no apology from the driver, just a comment about the amount of food we had ordered..... the food was OK, couldn't complain about it, it was hot and tasty enough, but nearly 3 hours later I had pretty much lost my appetite and my kids were ready for bed. It wasn't exactly cheap either! Maybe they are a victim of their own success, in which case they really need to look at the way they are set up and improve their output capacity.
I won't be bothering with here again, other places may not have quite as good food, but at least I can get it in less than an hour....
