This review is based on Vicky alone, what an absolute delight and ray of sunshine she is to the pub, I’ve visited twice recently and before that over 4 years ago, and I will definitely come back, she was so welcoming and accommodating with support on what to order her banter was the right level and you could tell she had a great rapport with customers.

One negative was quite a few items on the menu not available also both time I tried to order the same item (steak sandwich) to no avail, luckily vicky was there to recommend alternative dishes.

I don’t often leave reviews but on this occasion I felt I just had to.
( 30+ of us arrived on a Monday lunchtime she thrived on it)

Ordered some chips at 7:30pm, nothing big. Chips eventually came out after an hour to the wrong table to when they got to me they was stone cold, asked the man to REHEAT them.. simple task but no they end up not coming out at all so by the time it was 9:50pm I just asked for my money back and that’s all I got £2.49 nothing else. Absolute joke! Barley even tried to sort this issue out for me ruined my night fully.

Hadn't been here for many years but will definitely be going to eat here again. Extensive menu with lots of deals. Had full sized portion of fish and chips, the fish was lightly battered and we'll cooked, really delicious and the chips were yummy. Reasonable selection of non alcoholic drinks too. 8 of us went fairly early 12 ish and got seated no problem, was advised to book through web site. The place was full by 1 o'clock .

I walked in and bounced off various pillars in the main area which in the end (it doesn't even matter) landed me by the bar where a well built man took my order of 2 meals for £11.49. I then came back later to order cheesecake (must have) and there was a man wearing a star wars under T shirt thing who found my "Hello there" rather amusing. He had a nice face.

Pensioner ran out of vinegar and I gave him mine from my table as wasn't using it. He winked at me so I checked whether he had worked for the BBC before running off to hide in the toilets.

Rather good food, nice music and would come again.

Lovely place to eat and drink, food is always good. Friendly service and well located with easy parking. It has lounge and sports bar areas well decorated.

A Saturday night outing ( which was not too busy) yet as soon as last orders was called and 11 o'clock reached, the doormen were asking you to drink up and leave; no 20 minute drinking up time. If you still had the best part of a pint then the answer was "you have a plastic pint pot, you can take it with you. Not the friendly pub it purports to be...

Can't believe we got served a drink in a plastic cup just before 11 and then kicked at about 2 minutes later. The staff seemed to think it was OK as we had plastic cups and could just go outside and finish the drink - this would be fine in the summer but not so great in January! Won't be calling in there again after a meal out.
