Lovely local pub. Recently renovated to a very high standard to suit all clientele. The food we enjoyed was very tastey and the staff were very attentive

Lovely lunch in a beautiful setting!
We had lunch here today - all ten of us! Sat in the garden, wooden furniture all fitted with large parasols! Perfect on a summer’s day.
Great choice of food and all good prices. Allergy information clearly shown against every item on the menu.
Excellent service from polite and friendly staff.
Would highly recommend this lovely pub!

Lovely outdoor seating areas. Old outdoor tractor and basket of outdoor toys was a hit with the kids. Many thanks to the waitress that helped us move from table to table as we tried avoiding direct sun on a very hot day! Burgers were delicious as was the kids pasta.

Had the most delicious meal here today with my sister, gosh my compliments to the chef, my steak was cooked perfectly , then my dessert was just so perfect as well. Excellent quality food also the lady was so polite who came over and asked about our desserts.

Stopped by here to grab a quick lunch while working nearby. Really friendly staff, good beer selection blah blah BUT... The salt beef sandwich.... This was AMAZING. Genuinely amazing. Worth stopping here just for this. Truffle fries were also outstanding.

Beautiful pub with a great outdoor seating, simply stunning especially in sunny weather 😎 we have not expected less as its a sister pub to one of our favourites- The White Horse in Beaconsfield. Food is amazing, menu is extensive and dishes vary so everyone will be able to tickle their fancy 😋 very extensive gin menu as well 😉 staff were absolutely brilliant and made our stay very enjoyable. 100% recommended to visit!!!

Quintessentially English gastro pub. Insanely good food, beautiful countryside setting, very interesting history dating back to the 1700's. Wonderful service. I came out of a 2 year review-sabbatical to post this. I had the Potted Smoked Mackerel which was a wonderfully balanced dish, way lighter than I had expected with so many complementing flavours. Followed up with Fish Pie, which was again superb and way above average.

We had the most wonderful Christmas Day meal. The food was amazing, everyone we met / who served us was super friendly and helpful. The little touches like the Christmas card, quality Christmas crackers (not cheap rubbishy ones!) and the chocolates at the end - made a wonderful experience even better. MASSIVE thank you to all at The Leather Bottle!
