The griffin is the definition of a country put, surrounded by field, dog and children welcome, everyone friendly. Staff make a point of learning your name. Sale good range of ales and Gin and plenty of other options, with good snack selection including pork pies.
Could not fault this pub everything about it is fantastic.

No TV No music just great old fashion CHILL DRINK CHAT...Staff are all Amazing friendly and hard working even more so as this place is packed out every weekend it just goes to show how many people love this place too. Great Ales and wines...plenty of seating outdoors No kids allowed in the bar 😅😅 only in the conservatory.. or outdoors..dogs welcome in the bar and plenty of bowls are provided🐕🐆🐾🐾..OUR Favourite local by far..highly recommend.🍾🥂🍷🍷🥃🥃

The Griffin, with an amazing beer garden in terms of open country around it, great location and the best real ale selection easy within a 10 mile radius of me. You would be hard pushed to leave here an unsatisfied real ale drinker. Never tried the food here so no comment on that. But have been here 3 times in the last month and find the barstaff overlook visitors in favour of locals when serving customers. Get that mindset sorted and I would say to any real ale drinker, try this place at least once. The locals won't do a runner folks.

Been going to this public house since the early 1980s it's the best place for real ale selection in the Midlands and the food is also top draw.anyone who gives this pub less than 5 stars has got out of the wrong side of the bed. Please go and find somewhere else to moan all the merrier for the rest of us.

A cosy space , good food and well worth a visit . Plenty of outdoor seating and space on good weather days. The conservatory ideal for small private gatherings.
Their child are fab!

Great, well kept, selection of top brand and local ales. Pleasant staff. Nice, recently upgraded outdoor seating for summer. Two roaring fires for the winter. Large grass area for the kids and wholesome food selection. Traditional without being dated. Double thumbs!

Never disappoints. Good beers, mulled wine, fire on, football on in the conservatory, dog-friendly and takeaway beers 🍷🍻🔥🐶 😊

We went there today and both had the steak and ale pie on the specials menu. It was absolutely delicious and homemade with mushy peas & chips. Washed down with excellent real ale!
