A great lunch, exceptional service and really tasty food from the new spring menu. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Plenty of parking.

Another brilliant old pub with lots of history. There's also the link attached "Lone Barn" with it's own interesting history. Plenty of seating indoors and outside. Good selection of beers and food. Friendly staff. Brings back memories when I used to visit there over 40 years ago.

Pleasant friendly helpful staff lovely cosy pub sat outside with our dog and had the delicious hand battered fish goujons in a ciabatta roll..(posh fish finger sandwich !!) It was amazing the ciabatta roll was light and crunchy the batter on the fish was melt in your mouth and the fish tasted so fresh served with chips n crispy fresh salad ..photo below definitely recommend. We will be back!

This is one of our favourite restaurants. The service is always friendly and timely. Food is well presented and tastes good.

We went for a meal for our anniversary last night. The barman who took us to our table seemed like he'd had a long day and that he'd rather not be there, but after that, the whole experience was wonderful.
The setting in the Lone Barn was enchanting.
The food was excellent - both tasty and priced appropriately for today's climate.
The mother and daughter team waitresses were friendly and very good at their jobs.
We highly recommend a visit.

Korean BBQ chicken stripes were good but the pate had very hard butter on top.
Disappointed with main course has mix up with order.
What I thought was small portion of mash potato compared to the chips on the steak & ale pie although some of the pastry was alittle hard has well.

Very nice pub. Great food and a variety of beers on tap. The British slow cooked steak and ale is delicious. And the Bakewell tart is a nice dessert that isn't too heavy.
