Lovely pub with a really nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the food was fantastic - good selection for vegans, I can highly recommend the vegan lasagne and the vegan cheesecake, delicious.

Nice Pub. Good atmosphere. Liked the menu, reasonable prices, plenty of outside seating, Friendly. Food and drinks super . Thank. Probably my favourite Pub now. If you're visiting solo then there is always Cracker to talk to.

They used 2 excuses saying new chef and small kitchen. But meals weren't overly hot they were more tepid. One meal was sent back due to chicken and vegetables being cold, and proceeded to wait another 20 minutes for it to arrive back at the table cold still only warm part was the fries. 1 member of table has been prior and it was good but this time all left disappointed. Cold meal taken off bill but still not impressed with wait times and meal temperature.

Great location, just tucked away. Good food, fantastic staff, not expensive, the atmosphere and vibe is very welcoming. There wasn't a single complete on the table.
I'm looking forward to coming back again.

Awful, would not recommend this to anyone wanting a Sunday lunch.
On entering the pub it looked like a nice old fashioned pub and seemed friendly.
The issue was with the food. We ordered 2 roat dinners with mixed meat and it came out cold and the Yorkshire pudding was burnt. The portion was also poor with only 2 small vegtable portions, 3 very small slices of meat and 4 small potatoes. 1 of the meals was requested with no veg as they didn't have peas, this wasn't an issue but no extra potatoes or meat were added to make up.
The table next to us also had Sunday lunch and it was steaming where it was so hot!

Being hungry, we just decided to eat the food. When the waitress asked if all was OK, I replied that the food was cold and Yorkshire burnt. Her reply was an apology, plus offer of a free pudding. We accepted the offer and requested 2 Sticky Toffee puddings one with custard and one with ice cream.
A few minutes later she returned and informed us that we now had to pay for one of the puddings! When I said no, she then asked if we still wanted one to share. Not sure if they planned to cut the free one in half and add a scoop of ice cream in one plate and custard in the other!
What an absolute joke!

Had my workmates Christmas dinner here a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely excellent and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the barman who did a superb job of serving us drinks and our food. The food was beautiful and tasty and nothing was left. An absolute gem of a place and will be back. Well done all.

Great lunch time food in new outdoor garden dining.
We had the tortilla wraps, which were quite filling and well cooked.
Also ordered a cheeky cheesy chips, naughty!

Just had roast dinner with my mum and son, all agreed it was delicious! The meat was cooked to perfection and there was so much of it, only bad thing was none of us could finish as there was so much food! Staff very friendly and excellent service. Really good value for money would definitely recommend
