The Lexden Crown

So in love with the Pizza here.. had the pulled pork one and it was fresh and tasty.. not only the good food but the staff were friendly and quick in service.. located by the main street and easy to find. Will come here often as this pub just a walk distance from our house

Have visited twice but haven't been inside yet, instead have made use of their outside tables and attentive service. Both visits were for a Sunday roast where each component was exceptional. Recommend getting a side order or their cauliflower cheese which was amazing. Good selection of deserts too. Experience topped off with friendly staff who are invested in ensuring you enjoy your visit. Fully recommended.

Came here for Sunday lunch with my family. I highly recommend the roast dinners. All the food was really tasty and the children's roast dinners were a great size too! To top it off the staff were really friendly and welcoming, even when our young children were running around the crazies :)

Enjoyed a tasty and generously large roast chicken dinner on a Sunday. The staff were all friendly and efficient, and the design of the interior felt homely yet modern.

We were looking for a dog friendly place to eat, spoke to a chap behind the bar and he directed us to an available table.

Waiting staff were friendly and helpful, were able to confirm what was gluten free. Food arrived quickly and was nice and hot and also very tasty.

They also do artisan pizza in their own wood fire pizza oven, would definitely recommend.

Just had a really lovely meal at the Crown and can't understand why it wasn't busier. The food was amazing - we felt spoiled for choice with the menu. Our host was charming and wonderful and our waitress too. The outside pizza area was maybe a little optimistic at this time of the year, but added a continental feel and unusual attraction to the pub and is a very creative use of the outdoor space. I loved the fairy lights at the entrance. I'm really happy that I chose to visit and will definitely be back. :)

The roast dinner was delicious!! Really good vegetables and the meat was so tender and beautifully cooked. We had one pork and one lamb. So good.
We had the sticky toffee pudding and brownie for dessert and both were very tasty.
The place has a great atmosphere and is decorated nicely.
The staff are friendly and the service was fast and excellent.
Great meal at a great price
Only down side is the Yorkshire puddings were not homemade.

I recently asked the Lexden crown to supply 3 Christmas hampers as gifts. I was hugely impressed with what was delivered for the price. Beautifully decorated and put together with a large variety of both food and alcohol items. The gifts went down incredibly well, and I will definitely be using the Lexden Crown for similar gifts again in the future. Thank you
