Love the open mic night on Sunday, I've played a couple of times now and it's a great place with a great atmosphere and everyone is equal. The selection of beers is a very easy way to get extremely intoxicated in a couple of pints. Can't fault this place 1 bit and massive love to all the people there

Dictionary definition of 'hidden gem', absolutely cracking craft and real ale pub plus also a live music venue. Very popular with locals and those in the know. Don't be fooled by the nondescript exterior, this pub is a find. Enjoy. M

Great pub....always a fantastic array of beers and a very active live music and talent venue. Recently changed ownership and seems like it's continuing all the good stuff!

Absolutely brilliant. Went to see a couple of mates play music there, not knowing what to expect, but boy what an array of fine ales ciders and perres.. Wish it was nearer.
