Seems like a nice pub when I lived around the corner. However, recently I just went to a shop over the road to pick something up very quickly; I was there 12 minutes and parked my car there as it was empty and before opening hours (11 am), so I couldn't notify them, so I didn't disrupt customers or the business as the car park was empty.

To my surprise, I received a parking charge of £60, which if I didn't pay would have been £100, and I would have got a default against my credit record. It seems unfair; I will be appealing it. But it means I probably won't go to the pub now.

Attended a 50th celebration here. The staff were friendly and so were the locals. Has a pool table which was good. A nice pub.

Held my sons 30th party in the hall, just the right size to get people mixing also handy to have the outside heated area for the smokers, the buffet was top notch, shout out to Lee, Kim & bar staff for easy booking & looking after everyone on the night, would recommend, thank you 👍🥰

Had a friends party there, caters for 200 in the bar area maybe not that much room inside for that many people, but when you use the outside area it's more comfortable.. not many bar staff, so for parties it's a bi slow going ??

Went here for the first time after moving into the area. All i can say is the manager was very accommodating. Nice pints ( Heineken ) and my girlfriend loved the on tap cocktails. Would recommend to anyone in the local area to give it a visit, and a have a few drinks in a relaxing atmosphere, there's a garden and a function hall also as well as a pool table. Fairly impressed for niche little pub. 5 🌟

Food was excellent, cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Not a very big menu but then it is only a pub. Not very busy when we arrived weekday lunchtime, so service was good and barmaid was very welcoming. I didn't give it a 5 because the toilets/bathroom wasn't great.
