Visited this pub for a Sat lunch, primarily because it has a nice kids play area (surrounded by a fence, keeping the kids safely locked in).

The lovely dining room is housed inside a typical, gorgeous, large English pub. Apart from the restaurant, the pub housed a few other great spots to sit and have a beer, including and outside beer garden.

After trying a pub staple (pie), vegetarian risotto, and kids chicken burger, the food didn't disappoint either.

Good pub and decent food. This place has a big car park, nice bar area, outside seating and a good sized restaurant area. The Fuller's beers are nice and the food is very consistent. This time we had pan fried chicken and the cod n chips. The pan fried chicken was excellent and really well cooked. I had the cod and the fish was nice and tasty but the batter was a bit firm, tasteless and greasy. The chips were lovely and overall it was a good meal.

Lovely food but slow service. Also not allowed at the bar despite no bar list. They proudly annouced they had 33 different spirits; I was tempted to ask them to list the lot but we would have been there all night. Very confusing one way system which meant going outside for the loo! I have been in much better managed pubs since corona. This just made me uncomfortable and angry

Visited on a quiet Monday evening, great choice of beers but food menu rather limited, especially for vegetarians. Food was pricey and small portions. Fish pie seemd rather small. Bar snacks were tasty though. Nice clean pub though with ample seating and no musac, giving a pleasant atmosphere. Nice gardens for outdoor seating. Good condition of pub interior.

Our party of 14 had a great time - the food was great, the timing was perfect, service was slick and the tables looked lovely!
Thank you for making our in-person Christmas do so lovely - after 2 years it was fab to be out together.
