A proper pub. Great choice of beers. Almost like stepping back in time in a good way. Cash only.

A nice pub which has a real 'loal' feel to it. Which was excellent, it filled me with nostalgia of days gone by. I have worked behind bars many years ago & I have one thing you can always tell if it is good & it is 'what happens when you leave?'. I had not met anyone in the pub, apart from both my friends, who sat in the quiet corner away from everyone. Nearly everyone said 'goodnight' to me as I headed for the front door. That's the sign that makes me want to go back - I will definitely.

Went there for the beer. Didn't disappoint. Well kept pint. Cash only was a bit different where small street stalls are taking cards these days. A small local pub though that is welcoming.

A really nice place small, spotlessly clean, friendly, and a great pint

Great ales, great old fashioned pub, lovely landlord who offers tasters. Best ale in Barrow.
