Nice cosy pub with friendly staff. Average selection of beers, very few ales and no craft beer. Food was lovely the first time we went but mediocre this time. Steak was watery and came well done rather than medium. Hopefully this experience was a one off as we like it and want to go back. Good beer garden too, partly shaded.

Enjoyed our 1st visit friendly place quick lunch and drinks affordable too! tidy outdoor area and dog paddock noted so will bring dog next visit also have a bouncy castle for the kids . My friends thought a salad choice would be nice in the summer as side salad was offered be back again thanks

Lovely friendly pub. A great place to go for a drink and a convenient place to start a stop a walk in the countryside across the road.

Worst treatment I have ever received in a pub or any establishment in general. The Racist Owner approached me and made it clear that he didn’t want me there. I couldn’t even have a look at the menu without him harassing me. Complete disappointment and a joke. The bar staff, however was nice and courteous. Just the owner who took it upon himself to make my experience as unpleasant as possible. Would give zero stars if I could. Dogs are allowed but apparently I’m not.

I must say this is a fantastic pub, the staff are really friendly and made me and my family 👪 really welcome.
We ordered food and nothing was to much hassle. I would definitely go back again.
