The Yellow Stocks

We attempted to visit this pub 45 minutes before it was due to close for the evening. Despite several customers sitting inside drinking still, the door was locked and we were refused entry. I find it sad and incredible that people are so reluctant to make money after surely suffering huge losses? As well as the contradiction of an inhospitable hospitality venue. We won't bother to revisit.

Absolutely recommend this lovely quiet but lively establishment, lovely conversation, a place to chill and relax.

Great micropub. Always got a great porter or stout on. Never disappoints.

Excellent well kept cask ales. Good choice of casks to choose from dispensed straight from the cask. Very friendly landlady. Reasonably priced.

Enjoyable couple of hours spent here.
Being a lager drinker thought I'd struggle here but they have a craft lager, this along with lovely, friendly staff made an enjoyable early evening.
