Feels like stepping back in time, back when pubs were social centres. Couldn't fault it. Landlady was exceptionally friendly and polite, especially considering we visited with my Czech brother in law and nephew.

Took a 20 minute walk as Tuesday curry night was recommended. Arrived to find pub in darkness and notices saying open again on 19th. Nothing online advising of closure.

Lovely pub with a real fire. The curry night on Tuesday night is absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended!

Just needs some TLC bigtime....nice staff, was only sausage or chicken nuggets and chios available even though it was curry night
