This corner pub just off the city centre is comfortable and has an outdoor drinking area which could be quite pleasant on a fine day. We visited on a cold winter's day and the bar was warm and welcoming. Unfortunately no real ales were available despite a pump clip being displayed. A disappointment.

Found this pub by accident! Completely lost!! Landlady was lovely so stopped for a few beers, proper locals pub and we were made to feel very welcome! Saved the postcode so will definitely be back

Lovely pub with lovely service, really tasty and affordable tapas and wine. Accommodating for our cig breaks with a lovely heated and covered smoking area and casual service. Will come again!

The landlady is the biggest drunk helmet I’ve ever come across in my life.. and I come from Bowthrope and used to drink in the norkie.
Avoid this place like the plague.

Very nice pub, great selection of beer and very friendly staff, also has a very well maintained pool table.

Proper real local pub. Not many left, visit now!

Brilliant staff the landlady is a treasure so nice to see a broken down pub turned into a well loved place to go, great atmosphere, great staff, clean and tidy will definitely be there again, and u would recommend it to anyone 😀😎
