Great food and very friendly staff. The breakfasts are available from 10.a.m Monday to Saturday and are excellent value for money. I would also recommend their Sunday roasts which are brilliant.

We popped in after visiting relatives who live in Neston. The warm feeling and friendly welcome we both got was brilliant. The staff went out their way to make us and others have a pleasant evening and the food was splendid and reasonably priced too, although a little more pastry on my chefs special pie would of been good but thats the only thing i can grumble about just my preference, but a great pub lovely food and warm,friendly, accommodating staff we will definitely be making another visit

Friendly staff and good home cooked style food. Good selection of beers on offer too.
There's a kids play area in the back garden too.

Very pleasant staff, food served promptly and was reasonably priced. Couldn't fault the place for a quick evening meal.

Pleasant atmosphere , proper basic home cooked type meal choices on their menu but never had a bad meal yet , would definitely recommend

Called in for Lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the warm and cheerful welcome. Presented with the menus ( our friends had been here before and were pleased with the large quantities). We chose 2 liver and onions served with Potato mash and gravy. 1 chicken curry with pilau rice, and 1 Gammon and eggs.
All 4 of dishes were cooked to perfection and the quantities were certainly enough for us not to eat anything in the evening.
Do give the Royal Oak a try.
