Update July 22
Loving the new menu, the efficiency of the kitchen and the friendliness of the staff. The C&H is now firmly back on my regular visit list. I recommend the lamb curry in particular. Your usual beer choices still missing but the selection is vast enough to find something you like. I would like to congratulate the new team, sterling job!!!

New staff new menu, worth rediscovering
But seems to have lost its identity a bit. Not a busy pub but worth a look in. Seems to have lots of 'special' beers on tap rather than the usual fayre. I wish they did a few that you'd recodnise

Friendly and welcoming staff. I would say the inside vibe is a bit more traditional than contemporary. Good choice of craft beers (not just the usual offerings from beavertown etc) If I remember correctly they had quite a few cask ales on. Back garden was nice. Feels like a community sort of place

Amazing pub. Very large (definitely an old coach house) with great staff and a fabulous atmosphere. The Sunday Roast was spot on, tasty and delicious . Got very very busy with families, groups and people watching the football.

Great pub for relaxed food. Midweek menu is pretty good but roasts are great. Went with my partner for the roast and caught the last ten minutes of the football which suited me but be aware it's pretty loud. Roast itself was fantastic and fairly reasonably priced. Huge selection of beer on tap. Service from Tom was outstanding. 4 stars only cos the toilets were a bit grim.

A large boozer close to Leyton Orient's stadium, it does get really busy before and after games but the staff are friendly though and cope with it well. It is popular for a reason as it is clean and people come in for the food. It has a good atmosphere and I would recommend popping in if you're going to watch a match at Brisbane Road.

Had a fantastic dinner with one of the best fish & chips I had. My mate had a top-notch burger. I had the Moving Mountains veggie burger myself last time. Unmissable. Great variety of ales and love music on Fridays. I mean, what more can you ask for?

Having known this pub for over 30 years...(as a local) and not ever having any inclination to go in for a list of reasons...I was amazed when my son said he'd booked us a table for Sunday lunch.

"It's changed mum"....and he was right.

The space is huge, clean and staff extremely friendly. Great selection of beers and a lovely menu. Outside space too.

We ordered our Sunday roasts. Unfortunately there was a hiccup with two of our orders, which did spoil my experience a little...but I must point out, it was dealt with swiftly and professionally by the management. Thank you

Food was overall very tasty, good portion sizes, huge Yorkshire puds, and a good selection of vegetables which were perfectly cooked.

If you're looking for a Toby carvery sort of place, this isn't it, the food here is definitely on the next level.

Hopefully my son will book another table...🙂

I highly recommend a visit.
