Nice restaurant-bar. Service was friendly but we had very little of it ( order via app and pay upfront via card, food and drink brought to your table, you leave when done).
The burger and chicken skewers were good. The fries especially nice

Friendly at the bar while ordering, food arrived quickly, portions were big and tasted great.

Internal and external seating, with a variety of options with stools, armchairs and benches, so great for groups with reservations possible if necessary.

Accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs with multiple entry/exit points.

Lovely pub! We're avid fans of the quiz each Tuesday and the vibe is always amazing. The drinks and food are delicious, especially the small plates (for picking at while quizzing!). A big fan and will continue to come back every week.

Their food are great. Big portion. Great quality and cooking. Good service. Plenty of choices for beer and wine.

We have walked by this place multiple times and finally decided to give it try because it's always busy.

I was amazed at how large it was - the looks were deceiving - it was much more impressive on the inside than the out. If you didn't look for it you would never notice the huge outdoor beer garden in the back complete with ping pong table and heat lamps.

Although we did not dine in - we had a few cocktails and they were innovatively fun.

One of my favourite places to eat in St. Albans, staff are very friendly, location is pretty much dead centre and they do very nice food. Desserts so far have been a bit lacking but the starters (especially the croquettes and chicken bites) are fantastic and there’s a nice main course selection too.

It's a really cosy place with a nice garden. And one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever eaten! The chicken and vegetables were really tasty and the sauce was simply perfect. Moreover, all the staff members very friendly and polite. I'll definitely come back here next time I'm in St Albans.

Took my family for a late lunch the other day and loved it. Food was lovely quality, service was brilliant. Really appreciated the effort to bring the kids food out ASAP so they could eat (what we needed at the time) also the kids meal protions are superb. Our daughter loved it. Great place.
