The Avon Causeway

Had an overnight stay here and could not fault them. Room and bed were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Lovely welcome by staff, flask of milk on arrival for for tea and coffe in room which also had a small jar of shortbread on tray too.
I was most grateful for the fan which was in in the room. After a very long warm dog walk it was ideal.
Staff were great with our dog, provided treats in the room together with sausage and black pudding for breakfast!!
Both the evening meal and breakfast were delicious.
The hotel is situated quite close to the road but we couldn't hear traffic and opposite hotel is a woodland walk for the dog. Will definitely be returning.

We had a great overnight stay here whilst in Christchurch for a wedding. The hotel itself is great, with a piece of history onsite in the form of part of the old railway and a Pullman carriage that you can hire. Food was great too with ample choice and everything cooked fresh. Room had everything we needed and most importantly, a comfy bed! Finally, the staff were all lovely! So friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
We will definitely return!

Our stay met all of our expectations. We stayed for 3 nights in a family room. The room was modern, clean and comfortable, there was a fantastic selection of toiletries, really no need to bring your own. They also provided real milk for tea and coffee. Breakfast was really tasty and much nicer than a buffet you get at many hotels. The hotel is situated a bit out of the way, so more relaxing than being in the middle of a town. If we go this way again we will certainly stay here again.

Friendly, warm and welcoming, we immediately felt special with the attention to detail and care of all the staff. Our room was perfect, lovely big comfy bed. The pub/ restaurant is lovely inside and the food was amazing. Perfect location for airport and Parley manor.
Thanks to all the Team for making us feel so welcome, we will be back.

Amazing, the service exceeded expectation the young lady was charming and very helpful despite the fact that I asked a lot of questions she cheerfully went to and from the kitchen to gain the answers. The food was wonderful the Sunday dinner topside of beef was lovely, I had haddock and chips and they were the best pub chips I've ever had. I would recommend eating here or even just popping in for a pint and take in the history. I would recommend that u book, we were very lucky as walk in's and watched a few disappointed people unable to eat.

Fantastic place for a few nights close to the New Forest and in a forest setting. Yummy pub dinner and wonderful breakfast. Warm, friendly welcome. Child-friendly and dog friendly. The room was small but lovely and clean. The shortbread biscuits, thermos with cold milk and hot chocolate in the room were welcome touches much appreciated. We will be back.

What a fabulous place. We hired the railway carriage for a murder mystery night with a three course dinner, the night before Christmas Eve.

The food was divine. Massive compliments to the chef. The setting was amazing. The staff were superb, really friendly and helpful.

We were a party of 14, and we had the best night. I can highly recommend the Avon Causeway. 5 ⭐️

We came to The Avon Causeway for a Christmas dinner with friends…there was 16 of us…and we were in the railway carriage which was a lovely unusual setting. The table was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious and nicely presented. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The main pub was also beautifully decorated for Christmas and was warm and welcoming. Would definitely come again and recommend.
