We stumbled on The Old Frizzle by accident and we're so glad we did !!! Warm ,friendly service from Sam & Erica...very welcoming . Lovely decor inside & outside. Delicious food and wonderful 2 for 1 offer on cocktails on Thursday. Recommend you try it if you're in the area. We will definitely be returning.....soon !!!! 😁

Food was ok, service was slow when finishing up due to pub being busy and new card machine.

I hired the back arch area for a private function, we were holding a charity fundraiser. Excellent service, both through email and in-person at the venue, they were very accommodating and provided great value for money and there was plenty of buffet food to go around. I was very happy with the venue, and it really did help make our fundraiser be a success!

Great coffee. Disappointing vegan breakfast. Consist of 2 vegan sausages a dried vegan bacon a mushroom a grilled tomato spinach beans sourdough £13.50!!
Non vegan option £13.90!!! No thought has been put into the vegan breakfast. No hash browns no avocado or halloumi option. Sourdough was served with no butter or vegan spread so it was super dry. Please re look at this option. Remove that cardboard vegan bacon. Allow option to add eggs as I’m not a vegan. We asked for side of fries was told you can’t order till after 12 when the lunch menu begins. A little flexibility would have gone a long way. This option could be a whole better experience

Good food and selection of drinks.
Nice atmosphere, live music at night, generally a good place to go day or night.

Staff are friendly.

When busy though, they neglect an entire section of the bar and all work at the smaller end. It also seems all the drinks are at the smaller end of the bar so even when you do get served, it can take a long time...

I don’t like leaving one star reviews, especially when this place was recommended by a friend, but our experience here was awful.

To start with, I don’t know if our server (who didn’t crack a smile once) was either extremely hungover or just hated her job. There were only 3 other tables other than ours and we were the biggest (5 people). She constantly forgot which drink went to each person, even if only one of us asked for something.

It took about 40 minutes for her to take our order and when we did finally order we were told that only 4 of the options on the menu were available. With an already small brunch menu, this is definitely something that you should tell guests before they sit down.

About another hour passed before our food came out. We could see 2 of the plates waiting by the kitchen and only after a couple of people in our group had to raise their voices to get the waitress’ attention did she bring them over. She didn’t apologise and we could clearly hear her conversation (discussing with a second employee) what their plans were for Halloween.

Finally, when our food did come, even though we all had eggs on our plates, one person was given fried eggs instead of poached. This was not requested and no explanation was given. The same person also requested a side of hollandaise and she had to ask the waitress twice where it was only for her to eventually come back and tell us they didn’t have any.

The food was good but definitely not enough to excuse the terrible customer service.

I assume gratuity was included as I’m not sure how we each ended up paying over £20 for brunch. Such a shame this experience was so bad. I would absolutely never go back.

Enjoyed our first Sunday roast here since arriving in England from the US. I thought it was great. Veggies were great. Meat was tender. Gravy had great flavor. The staff is very nice and we loved the atmosphere

Quirky and Friendly venue in the heart of Wimbledon, opposite the Theatre.

Lamb burger with home made chips are to die for.

Highly recommend stopping off for a cheeky cocktail also..

Lots of booths with windows to people watch..

Thank you for great service. X
